Introduction
This section I learned basic knowledge about electricity as well as more in depth items. I started with reading Electrical System, throughout the book it listed skills and objectives I should know by the end of reading. As I went through the objectives I had to create different types of circuits. After the initial understanding of different currents I learned about different logics (AND, Or, NOT, NOR, NAND). I also had learned relays and other types of functions using the electrical control diagram/ tool.
Standards
- Demonstrate the effect of resistance
- Apply Ohm's Law, Watt's Law, and Kirchoff's Law
- Identify series, parallel, and combination circuits
- Apply knowledge of AC and DC systems
- Identify the uses and types of inductors and capacitors.
- Draw a circuit diagram and lay out the circuit
Evidence
In MTA I learned basic electrical skills. In the images above are some of the things I have done. On the right is a schematic diagram of a Nand circuit, to the left is the circuit.
