Catapult Project
In this project we were assigned teams of three and given the task to create a catapult that could shoot accurately at 10ft and 25ft and make it into a bucket. Starting the project the team had to design a catapult and then create a drawing on Solid Works. After the design was finalized the fabrication of it began. The catapult was powered by a electric motor and a holder (what held the Ping Pong Ball in place so could shoot accurately) with latex tubing attached to it to build up tension. A kinematic solenoid would then retract and allow the ball to be launched.
